Blues, Brews & Stews Set for Oct. 1

Piedmont Arts’ fourth annual Blues, Brews & Stews brings live music, craft beer and Brunswick stew to the Gravely-Lester Art Garden on Friday, October 1, 2021. Gates open at 6 pm.

Enjoy live music by T.C. Carter Band and a meal of Brunswick stew, cornbread, banana pudding and water or tea, all included in the ticket price. Beer and wine will be available at the cash bar.

From the time he was four years old in the hills of Patrick County, rhythm, blues and a whole lot of soul have been running through T.C. Carter's veins. A guitar prodigy from a young age, Carter teamed up with friends and family to form a blues band full of grit and soul. With Antwan Glenn on drums, Brandon Penn on bass guitar and Chelsey Carter singing vocals, T.C. Carter Band’s music feeds the soul and spreads good vibes.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. No outside food or drinks allowed. In case of rain, Blues, Brews & Stews will be held at Piedmont Arts.

Admission to Blues, Brews & Stews is $20 per person. Tickets are on sale now at Piedmont Arts and online here.

Blues, Brews & Stews is sponsored by Burton & Company and Martinsville Eyecare Center. The Gravely-Lester Art Garden is located at 207 Starling Avenue, Martinsville.
