Experience the magic of natural dyeing with instructor Jennifer Reis. Participants will learn how to prepare the dye vat; techniques of binding, stitching, clamping, and other pattern-making options; the dye process itself; and final preparation of finished products. Everyone will get one silk scarf and three tea towels to dye - additional scarves and tea towels will be available for purchase and participants are welcome to bring personal, white/cream, fabric items of cotton or silk to dye as well. Advanced registration required.

Get crafty at this multi-day Art Camp for grades K–2. Campers will explore a variety of artistic techniques, styles and materials. An art show will take place at the end of camp, showcasing campers’ work for their families to enjoy. Class meets daily June 5 – 9 from 9 am – 12 pm each day. Advanced registration required.
Drop off and pick up will occur at the Piedmont Arts classroom.

At the museum's first-ever Curtains Up! Theater Camp for grades 3–5, children will get an opportunity to learn everything they need to take center stage. Theatre is an art rooted in creative self-expression and creative imagination. Campers will learn the foundation of theatre skills that will culminate in a small performance for friends and families at the end of the week.
Skills include:
Each day, will focus on one of these skills. Students will come away from Curtains Up! with life skills, like self-confidence, boosted creativity and imagination, collaboration, communication, and empathy. The performance on Friday afternoon will be created in the camp by the campers with a script of their own making.
Drop off and pick up will occur in the main lobby of Piedmont Arts.
