Sponsored by Martinizing Dry Cleaning, Martinsville Henry County Chamber of Commerce For the first year, Piedmont Arts will host a Christmas tree lighting in the Gravely-Lester Art Garden. Join the museum for crafts, hot chocolate and caroling. Just like the sculptures in its Art Garden, the museum’s Christmas tree will be a work of art. Created by Ian Hogg using lights strung on wire, the tree will be lit at sunset on November 30 and brighten the Art Garden through New Year’s Day. Smith River Singers will lead caroling during the event, kids can create Christmas ornaments to take home and Santa Claus, the jolly old elf himself, will make an appearance. Complimentary snacks and hot chocolate will be available. All are welcome. Admission Free
