MARTINSVILLE, Va. (May 6, 2026) — Students from Carlisle School and the staff of the Virginia Museum of Natural History visited Piedmont Arts on May 6 to view the exhibit, "Neither Here Nor There," by Betsy Hale Bannan.
Bannan led the tours, discussing her work and process, and answering questions.
The exhibit examines the microcosm of the airport, focusing on the backstage elements that make up the complex infrastructure of air travel.
Bannan is a professor in the School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around the country.
"Neither Here Nor There" is on view through June 6. Admission is free.
