Dear friends,
As Piedmont Arts' 60th anniversary comes to a close we reflect upon our past achievements and look forward to the museum’s future in this great community we call home.
Our 60th year included hundreds of engaging art experiences with everyone from preschoolers to older adults. Lively dance, uplifting music, thoughtful exhibitions, and inspirational educational outreach...
One of the many educational programs Piedmont Arts brought to local schools this year was Kid Pan Alley. In this songwriting workshop, each class wrote a song and professional musicians helped arrange the music. All participated in a concert to showcase their new music. Song titles ranged from “Fly Away Trouble” and “Feeling Kind of Blue” — songs expressing students' feelings during the pandemic — to “I thought a Cat was a Good Gift."
Your support allowed Piedmont Arts to bring art outside of the museum and into local schools, retirement homes, and after-school community groups. Thank you for helping us make this impact in our community.
With sincere appreciation for your patronage, we wish you all the joys of this holiday season and hope for the new year. Your advocacy, support, and care ensure the vibrancy of our wonderful museum.
We hope to see you, your family, and friends at Piedmont Arts in 2022!
Warmest wishes,
Heidi Pinkston
Executive Director
