Melissa White is the front desk coordinator at Stateline Aesthetics. She has never had a dance lesson, but danced at lots of clubs in the '80s. She is excited to participate in Dancing for the Arts to have fun and raise money for Piedmont Arts.

Al Herndon is the social media manager for Sarver Properties and the floor manager at 3rd Bay Café. He has no formal dance experience. When asked to participate in Dancing for the Arts, he was initially “very nervous and hesitant,” but chose to dance to raise “as much money as we can” for Piedmont Arts. He is excited to try something new and hopes his customers, coworkers, and family will support him in the competition.

Melissa and Al are coached by Jane Leizer. Their assigned dance in the competition is the rumba.
