Season's Greetings from the Executive Director

Dear Piedmont Arts members and friends,

There is an Arabic curse that says, “may you live in interesting times.” We certainly have been living in interesting times. However, Piedmont Arts finds itself fortunate, not cursed.

It has been a challenging and transformative year for everyone, including Piedmont Arts. Through the many ups and downs of 2020, the museum was able to provide meaningful art experiences, both onsite and online, to many.

This year we had to cancel over 100 performances, events, and classes due to the pandemic and help keep the community safe. I feel confident that we will soon be together sharing uplifting, inspirational art encounters.

As we enter our 60th year, we reflect upon our past achievements, and look forward to exploring inspirational opportunities for the future.

With sincere appreciation for your patronage and support, we wish you all the joys of this holiday season and hope for the new year. Your advocacy, patronage, and care ensure the vibrancy of our wonderful museum. It is because of friends like you that our community is a more enriched place to live, work and play.

We hope to see you, your family and friends often at Piedmont Arts in 2021!

Warmest wishes,

Heidi Pinkston

Executive Director
