Virginia Foothills Quilters Guild
The Virginia Foothills Quilters Guild, a Piedmont Arts Community Partner, is an organization formed to create, stimulate, maintain and report an interest in all matters pertaining to the making, collecting an preserving of quilts and establish and promote educational endeavors through quilts/quilting.
The Virginia Foothills Quilters Guild welcomes all who are interested in quilting.
Activities:- Regular monthly meetings
- Programs for teaching quilting techniques
- Outreach-quilts for comfort to those in need
- Attendance and participation in quilt shows
- General discussions of quilting matters
- Workshops given by local quilt-making teachers
- Promote the continuing interest in quilt making
- Give demonstrations on quilting
Meetings of the Guild are held at Piedmont Arts on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am and the second Tuesday of each month at 6:45 pm. Check the Events Calendar for more information.
